Phone broadcasting sounds technical. It is not.<\/p>\n

It means you send one message, or one live audio feed, out to many people at once over the phone. They do not need the internet. They just need a phone that rings or a number they can dial.<\/p>\n

For a church, that opens a door to every member, not only the ones who are comfortable online.<\/p>\n

Two ways churches broadcast by phone<\/h2>\n

There are two shapes to this, and most churches end up using both.<\/p>\n

Live listen-in<\/h3>\n

A member dials one number and hears the service as it happens. The sermon, the choir, the prayers, all live. This is the closest thing to being in the pew for someone who cannot make it in.<\/p>\n

Outbound calls<\/h3>\n

The system calls a list of members for you. Their phone rings, they answer, and they are connected. This is great for a Sunday reminder, a prayer alert during the week, or a quick note when a longtime member passes away.<\/p>\n

You record or speak the message once. The system handles the hundred calls.<\/p>\n

Why phone still beats an app for some members<\/h2>\n

We hear the same story over and over. A church buys nice streaming gear, sets up a channel, and a chunk of the older congregation still misses every service.<\/p>\n

It is not that they do not care. It is that the tech is a wall.<\/p>\n
